I’m Ellen Herschel, a cognitive scientist and creative interdisciplinarian passionate about using data-driven insights and social experiences to improve well-being.
My Background
I’m an cognitive scientist studying for a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Science at the Brain & Creativity Institute at USC.
My research focuses on the impact of music and arts programs on wellbeing including cognition and communication during development, aging, and in disease populations.
Outside of Academia, I have worked in the philanthropic research industry as a Learning and Impact Intern (data analysis) at HopeLab assessing the impact of tech on health and wellbeing of youth and young adults.
